Yoga for Self Regulation

Classes are beneficial for children with attention and social difficulties. Little Tree Yoga Studio will use proven strategies that help develop more personal awareness, maintain focus and manage emotions and impulses. 


Consistently and constantly incorporating coping strategies to manage internal and external conflicts will contribute to your child’s greater health, self-mastery and well-being.   

The goal of yoga is to create a certain mindfulness and self-awareness of the mind, body and breath connection that the child will independently know how to recognize and manage in emotional or stressful situations that would normally cause them to act out.  Awareness of this connection can be helpful when demands are placed on us within a social context.
